The Problem
Dr. Green wanted to run a worldwide cannabis trading marketplace that was legally defensible, permissioned, and impossible to brigade — without a centralized gatekeeper signing up every user by hand.
They needed access control that survived jurisdictional complexity, a catalog that felt like a branded universe rather than a stock storefront, and on-chain proof of membership that holders could resell.
Our Approach
We built access around a Digital Key NFT: owning the token unlocks the marketplace and every category below it. Minting, revocation, and resale all live on-chain, so membership is portable and auditable.
The catalog was restructured into a themed metaphor — strains live on named planets — turning a flat product grid into a browsable universe with its own visual grammar. Wallet connect is the only login; there is no email, no password, no account database to breach.
